2nd transnational meeting

All partners are looking forward to the volunteer exchange in 2019.

For the 2nd transnational meeting within the project “Europe for all – an initiative for the integration of young people with fewer opportunities into the EVS/European Solidarity Corp” we met  our partners for the second time since our network started. The meeting took place from November 22, 2018 to November 24, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Again, the coordinators of all four international partner organisations as well as the scientific accompaniment attended the meeting: Achieve More Scotland (Scotland), Association “Inspiration” (Vdahnovenie) (Bulgaria), Association Porta Nuova Europa (Italy), Jugendakademie Walberberg (Germany) and the University of Applied Sciences of Cologne (TH Köln).

Achieve More gave us inspiring insights into their work in Glasgow and brought the international partners together with local partners, such as the Reidvale Adventure Play Association and the Reidvale Centre / Reidvale Youth Hub as well as a community based Sinti and Roma organisation.
Another highlight was the meeting with young people from Glasgow, who had done voluntary services in Europe. Thanks for sharing your experiences and thoughts with us!

Furthermore, the time in Glasgow was used to reflect and discuss the realised activities since April 2018 and the determined milestones with regard to the expected results, strategy adaptions and further development. Particular attention was given to the development of local networks and the appropriate targeting of the young people the project wants to reach. In this context, peer-learning methods and the development of blended-learning-concepts were discussed. Further information will follow! Last but not least, we also refined the project management strategies.

We’re looking back at three very productive and motivating days and are happy for a cooperation that offers more and more possibilities.
