“Migrate to Europe – live in Europe” was a youth mobility that involved 44 young people from over 15 countries from all over the world (Iraq, Syria, Genui-Buiseau, Nicaragua etc.). The youngsters migrated with different backgrounds (as refugges, asylm seekers, family members, students) to Scotland, Germany, Italy oder Spain at different stages of their lifes, forced to migrate because of war, repression or poverty.
At the Camp the youngsters shared their experiences of possibilities of integration and participation in different european societies and strongly cooperated in finding their wishes and needs for an open and inclusive Europe. It was two weeks full of Empowerment! Youngsters were involved to offer workshops about migration, dance, cultural exchange and political as well as social particpation. We learned so much about and between each other!
The mobility was realized by the Jugendakademie Walberberg (Germany), Achieve & More (Scotland), Babele Onlus (Italy) and the European Network of Migrant Women (ENoMW) in July 2018.
