Former ESC-Volunteer Martin Rieger is starring in a video released by our partner bezev e.V. together with Eurodesk Germany!
The recently launched campaign “Einfach (was) bewegen” (Move & Get Active) presents inclusive options of international volunteering. The goal is to encourage more young people with special needs to consider going abroad as a volunteer.
Martin who was part of our team at Jugendakademie Walberberg last year, is one of the volunteers featured in the movie. His short-term volunteer service in the context of the European Solidarity Corps brought him from Austria to Germany. In the movie he explains what he liked especially about his role of assisting us in the field of public relations.
The campaign aims at winning more youngsters with special needs – particularly those with impairment/disabilities – to get involved in international volunteer programs. ESC is presented as one of the possible programs focusing on European countries.
